Assessments/ASM structure as per Lead pedagogy
This article will help us to understand how the entire ASM structure works.
We have 3 kinds of ASM’s
ELGA ASM’s
- ELGA - BOY ASM (It can be conducted Online or Offline)
- This is conducted to allocate ELGA level
- Non-ELGA BOY ASM (It can only be conducted online)
- This is conducted before Bridge Course (To get the benchmark)
Unit ASM’s
- These are ASM’s which are conducted in the unit (A unit could have multiple ASM’s, ASM’s could be oral or written.)
- These ASM’s can be conducted Online or Offline
- Online - Teacher’s have to schedule them from TMA & students can see it on the Lead Student App. Teacher’s correct it on TMA & Enter the marks on TMA.

- Offline - School receives the ASM question paper from the SCM. The school conducts the ASM, corrects the physical sheet & enters the mark for the ASM from the Tab.

MOY/EOY ASM’s
- These are nothing but semester/ 6 monthly or Final/Yearly exam
- These ASM’s can be conducted Online or Offline
- Online - Teacher’s have to schedule them from TMA & students can see it on the Lead Student App. Teacher’s correct it on TMA & Enter the marks on TMA.
- Offline - School receives the ASM question paper from the SCM. The school conducts the ASM, corrects the physical sheet & enters the mark in the Tab
Key points -
- ASM's can be conducted Online or Offline.
- Online it's scheduled through TMA or Nucleus. This ASM can be corrected on TMA & marks can be entered on TMA itself.
- Offline the school receives the question paper & that is shared with the students and then after the exam teacher corrects it manually & enter the marks in the Tab.
- Schools can choose the ASM type i.e Online or Offline.
- Always probe and check how the ASM's were conducted Online or Offline
- Offline ASM methods - Question paper shared on Whatsapp, ASK doubt, Students come in the school etc
