Data upload & BOY process for Academic Year 24-25

This article will help us to understand how schools can schedule BOY for 24-25

Full fledge programme for AY 23-24, School doesn't want to RE-DO BOY 

  • Existing students will not be appearing for BOY (As they will get a new ELGA level based on their EOY)
  • New admissions to be added as per the New admission process 
    • If the school requests for BOY question paper, kindly share the same with the school 
    • CBSE Objective - ELGA BOY (23-24)
    • CBSE Subjective - ELGA BOY(23-24)
    • Telangana State board, Tamil Naidu State board, Andhra Pradesh State board (These things will be updated by 25th )New admissions have to give BOY & based on their marks they will get ELGA level 

 

Full fledge programme for AY 23-24, School wants to RE-DO BOY 

  • School with Grade Nursery to Grade 7
    • Ensure EGLA is confirmed for all students in Academic Year 23-24 and promote the students.
    • While Promotion please ensure that promotion is done for ELGA with the REDO BOY option.
    • Conduct BOY as per Academic Year 23-24 BOY question paper
    • Update the ELGA BOY score in Academic Year 23-24
  • School with Grade Nursery to Grade 8 or above
    • Ensure EGLA is confirmed for all students in Academic Year 23-24 and promote the students.
    • While Promotion please ensure that promotion is done for ELGA with the REDO BOY option.
    • Conduct BOY as per Academic Year 23-24 BOY question paper
    • Update the ELGA BOY score in Academic Year 23-24

Platform only programme for AY 23-24, School wants to conduct BOY

There are 2 ways of conducting the BOY

  • Student Data uploaded in Academic 23-24
    • Conduct BOY as per Academic Year 23-24BOY question paper
    • Promote the student to AY 23-24(Students to retain the ELGA level)
    • Confirm ELGA grouping (Activity to be done by AEM - Excellence Team post confirmation from the school)
    • Promote the student to AY 24-25
    • Conduct BOY as per Academic Year 23-24 BOY question paper
    • Confirm ELGA grouping (Activity to be done by AEM - Excellence Team post confirmation from the school)
      Student Data uploaded in Academic 23-24
     
    If the school raises a request to purge (Delete) the student data from Nucleus
    Approval Required: 
    ZCEO - For KAM and Expansion Team
    AED - For Excellence Team
    TAT (Turn around Time) : 3 to 5 Working days (Tentative) based on the availability of DevOps team

SOP to be communicated to internal employees (KAM/AEM/AMs) for data purge requests (Strictly not to inform this to school KDMs)

Process for the Student data purge request:
1. Make sure that we have School details, student details (for purge request) & AED, ZKAM, ZCEO approval
2. Check if correct expectations are set with approvers. If not, set the expectations - (This is a huge request, Very time-consuming, Irreversible & may affect deliverables)
3. All students which they want to purge should be INACTIVE
4. All students which they want to keep, should be ACTIVE
5. Low Priority SR should be created and run within 3-5 days (Tentative TAT it may change subject to availability)
