Bridge course

Read the below article to understand what is Bridge course and how it helps students

What is a Bridge course -  A bridge course addresses the learning gaps that students enter a grade with, by ensuring that they obtain the prerequisite knowledge and skills required to achieve the learning outcomes of their current grade. (It's a revision of important concepts from last year so that students don't struggle with the current academic year)

When it will start - A ‘Bridge Course Unit’ will be introduced at the beginning of Term 1 (Before Unit 1). Students will be up-to-date with the knowledge and skills they need to know to meet the learning objectives of the term successfully.  

Methodology of the Bridge course - 

  1. If the school opts, they will have BOY (The BOY will help us to understand where the child currently stands in terms of learning)
  2. On Day 5 students will get a quiz to answer 
  3. On Day 10 Bridge Course Assessment will be conducted (To check how much the child has learned)

Which subjects will have Bridge Course  - Maths, EVS, Science, SST, and NCERT English (There will be No bridge course for ELGA)

If the school wants to skip the bridge course what's the process

The teachers can skip the bridge course on their tab.

If the Teacher wants to the bridge course what's the process

Once the teacher has skipped the bridge course, we will not be able to revoke, and she must proceed with the Unit program.
