How to avoid Student Data Duplicate Error

Please find the process to be adhered to based on the queries raised by Advisors on How to avoid Student Data Duplicate errors.

Scenario: Delete Students
Step 1: Go to Student List and Click on Edit Admission Code or Class
Step 2: Click on Download Sample FIle
Step 3: Identify students to be deleted from an existing list in Sample File
Step 3: Change the admission code of the selected students (Series to be used: Delete1, Delete 2, ...... Delete n)
Step 4: Save and Upload the Sample File
Step 5: Click on the Download list on the Student Overview page.
Step 6: Change Last name (Formula to be used =F2&".") and Upload file
Step 7: Click on Delete Student on the Student Overview page.
Step 8: Select the students to be deleted and click on Delete Student
 
Note: For the Cases where the above steps are not followed the Student Data is deleted directly then we will encounter a scenario where while uploading the student data Nucleus will throw an error stating "Student Duplicate Error"
 
Scenario: Steps to handle Student Duplicate Error while uploading student data if encountered.
Step 1: Go to Student List and Click on 'Edit Admission Code or Class'
Step 2: Click on 'Download Sample FIle'
Step 3: Identify students to be Uploaded from an existing list in Sample File
Step 4: Change admission code (Formula to be used =A2&".")
Step 5: Upload the Sample File
Step 6: Click on 'Download list' on the Student Overview page.
Step 7: Change Last name (Formula to be used =F2&".")
Step 8: Add BOY Score or make necessary changes in Student data as per the request raised
Step 9: Click on the 'Upload list' on the Student Overview page to Upload the file.
