Tab not getting switched on/does not appear to Power On/Tab not getting charged

If the tab is not getting switched on or not getting charged follow the below steps

Step 1 - Ask the user to try to switch on the Tab, if the user cannot switch on move to the next step.

Step 2 - Ask the user to put the Tab on charging for at least 15 mins (Arrange for a call back from the follow-up team)

Step 3 - (To be adhered by follow-up team)  As the customer has charged the tab for 15 mins now ask the customer to switch on the tablet. If the Tab switches on then close the ticket if not move to the next step.

Step 4 - (To be adhered by follow-up team) As the tab is not getting switched on, ask the user to again charge the device with a different charger (This is done to rule out any charger issues). If the tablet is still not getting charged then escalate the ticket.

Escalate the ticket with the below information

  1. Serial no & IMEI - (Clear pic of the backside of the tab)
  2. Supporting Video(If possible) - Attach the Video, where it shows that the tab is not switching on (Use Any desk or use any phone to capture the same)


    Escalate it to the relevant IT warehouse if its related to school user tabs and Escalate it to IT asset if its for any Internal employees.
