IFP Basic Troubleshooting Steps for Support Team
This SOP provides steps for troubleshooting casting issues on Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) provided by LEAD. All IFPs operate on Android OS and come preinstalled with LEAD Classroom App and inbuilt miracast apps like AirGo/Transcreen for casting.
1. Requirements for Casting LEAD Tablets to IFP
1.1 LEAD Classroom App
- On IFP:
- LEAD Classroom App v2.3.1 must be installed.
- WiFi must be enabled.
- No internet connection required.
- For stable connection between the tablet and IFP do not connect IFP to any WiFi network.
- Hotspot must be disabled.
- On Tablet:
- WiFi must be enabled.
- No internet connection required.
- Teacher App with Classroom/DD/QR Code scanning option enabled.
1.2 IFP Casting Apps (AirGo / Transcreen)
- On IFP:
- WiFi must be enabled and connected to the internet.
- For stable casting, enable Hotspot on the IFP.
- On Tablet:
- WiFi must be enabled.
- Connect the tablet to the IFP’s hotspot.
- AirGo Cast / Transcreen application should be installed.
2. Common Issues & Resolution
2.1 Classroom App – Device name not visible / stuck on connecting
Symptoms:
- Device name not showing under QR code in Classroom app.
- Casting is stuck at the “Connecting” stage on the tablet.
Resolution Steps:
- On the IFP, close the Classroom app.

- Go to Settings > System > Network.

- Ensure WiFi is enabled and Hotspot is disabled.

- Relaunch LEAD Classroom App.

- Device name should now appear under QR code.

- Retry casting from the tablet.
2.2 Classroom App QR Code not visible on the IFP
Symptoms:
- On IFP upon launching the Classroom app, QR and device name is not visible.
Resolution Steps:
- Uninstall Lead Classroom App from IFP. (Long press on app and click on uninstall)
- Make sure IFP is connected to the Internet and Hotspot is disabled.
- Open Chrome browser and install Classroom app from via APK Link
- If you are getting Play Protect error while installing the app then:-
- Open Play store > Click on account logo on top right corner.
- Manage apps > Click on No harmful apps found
- Click on Settings icon on top right corner and disable play protect and install the apk again.

- Now QR code and device name will be displayed. If it doesn't, please follow the Escalation process.
2.3 Third-party casting apps (AirGo / Transcreen) – Unable to Cast
Symptoms:
- AirGo Cast / Transcreen is installed on IFP but not on the tablet
- Unable to see IFP device name on the tablet
Resolution Steps:
- On IFP, go to Settings > System > Network and Enable WiFi and Hotspot.
- Launch AirGo Cast / Transcreen App. You should see a Pin Code and IFP Hotspot Name and Password
- Launch AirGo Cast / Transcreen App. You should see a Pin Code and IFP Hotspot Name and Password
- On Tablet:
- If AirGo Cast / Transcreen App is not installed:-
- Open Google Lens via Chrome browser. Scan the QR Code shown on the AirGo Cast / Transcreen app on IFP.
- This will give a link to download the app. Install it and do TPS update configuration to make the app visible on the tablet's home screen.
- Connect the Tablet to IFP’s Hotspot.
- Launch the App and provide all permissions when asked.

- If app is already installed:-
- Connect the Tablet to IFP’s Hotspot.
- Launch the app.
- Under the device list you will see IFP’s device name. Click on it and enter the PIN shown on the IFP and connect or you can scan the QR on IFP from within the app.
- Click on One Click connect button on the app and tablet will start casting.

3. Escalation
If issue persists even after above troubleshooting or a different issue has been raised by school which is not listed here then escalate to ifp.support@leadschool.in and move ticket to Interactive Flat Panel ( IFP) Pipeline on Hubspot with following details:
- IFP Details:
- Make (Brand name) and Serial number of Impacted Device
- Issue Description:
- Clear and concise description of the problem
- When the issue started
- Frequency of the issue (intermittent or persistent)
- Any error messages or codes displayed on the screen (Photo Required)
- Small video of the issue (Mandatory)
- Clear and concise description of the problem
- Contact Information:
- Deal ID
- Name and contact details for follow-up
- Preferred contact time
