Process for duplicate tickets

Process for multiple tickets raised by the same user/ same issues

We will close all tickets and we only keep one ticket open
In case you come across a duplicate ticket that is handled by agent1, assign this ticket to agent1.
Agent1 will work on the original ticket and force close the duplicate ticket that has been assigned to him or her immediately
Update precise notes in the closed ticket(Mention the ticket number which we have kept open)
It's important that before we close any ticket we inform the person who has raised the ticket that we are going ahead and closing the ticket by sending him/her an email.
