We understood that, team wanted further understanding on how assessments for Propel are created on TA & downloaded from Nucleus.
Here is the process and corresponding video to explain the same in detail,
- Click on the "Assessment" button the top right given with each chapter to get started.
- Step by step process of what to do next is captured in this video.
- Once the assessment creation is completed, the download option is available only in "Nucleus".
- How to navigate and download / bulk download explained in this short video.
- Edit option post creation of the question paper can only be given by the KDM who operates the Nucleus.
Teachers can also watch and get certified via Lead Academy - by completing "Propel Accelerated Readiness Program"

- Why is one click update of Tab needed in Propel ?
All Propel tabs will come with SD cards and pre-loaded content for the entire year. Whenever there is a new update for the app or the content One Click - update is necessary. Not a periodic update.
- Does the content get reviewed every year ?
Yes.
- In the event of a power cut-off.
Impacts only the AV Resources to be played on the TV. Teachers can continue teaching using the books and follow instructions on the tab.
- What if a student misses a day ?
Same process as what a Teacher follows with books only teaching. The Teacher can help during recap or revision time (it will depend on the teacher).
- Smart school system ?
Available for both Propel and Lead.
- Marks entry available?
Only in LEAD
- Assessment of the teacher is quarterly or monthly.

- Are there activities outside the school curriculum?
Not provided by us as part of Propel. Schools can conduct on their own.
- Will the teacher divide the class according to VAK ?
Not needed as we follow a multi-modal approach. - Certification of teacher - how and why - How process explained . Why ?
As per NEP CPD is mandatory - If the teacher has to prepare but it is 1 tab per class - how do we expect teachers to prepare - up to the Principal and teachers to plan ?
Recommended number of tabs is one per teacher available. If the count of tabs is less, teachers can reach out to the Academic coordinator / Principal / School management to insist on purchasing a new one. Decision solely lies with the school - Training for Principal / School Management.
Will be covered during the School Leader Orientation (SLO) carried out by the Area Managers before the TD. - Can teachers create separate papers as per the ability of students?
We do not recommend as our question paper ratio outline is given as recommendation - LOTS - MOTS - HOTS - If the teacher does not have a tab how will they prepare ?
Tabs for the teachers is an integral part of the Propel / Lead curriculum. If not available, the teacher should contact the Academic Coordinator /Principal/School Management for next steps. - How is confidentiality of assessments maintained - as all can see all QPs created
- If school wants specific teachers not to create assessments then that feature will be available on Nucleus by 1-Apr-2024
- As a rule, we are not keeping anything closed by default. It is the responsibility of the school to ensure there is no mal-practice. - Why can’t lesson plans be accessed on a web browser ?
To protect Intellectual Property Rights of the company. - How many teachers might be aware of the system in the schools that our trainers go to?
Let’s go with the assumption that teachers are not aware of an integrated curriculum system. It is our responsibility to train them to get started with the integrated curriculum - Teachers might be teaching multiple subjects in different classes - how do they prepare?
This is a discussion between teachers and principals / academic coordinators to plan ahead and prepare. - How is LEAD planning to track and communicate the performance of schools?
This is available as Reports in Nucleus. To be covered in the SLOs. - Can teachers create multiple question papers for any assessment ?
Each time a new QP is created it will replace the previous one. So anytime there will be only one QP available. - Can teachers add their own questions
This feature is not available. - How will teachers access Academy modules on web browsers and will certificates be customized to their names ?
Teachers will be able to login to Lead Academy using their login credentials and add the basic details for their profile (Includes name, Class, Subjects etc). Once they complete the courses available and CFUs are answered,certificates will be issued in their respective names. - Will the schools have login credentials for Academy prior to the training ?
Yes, this will be covered during the SLOs and by AM/CSMs in the expectation settings message before the TD.
