SLC - Student-Led Conference (Introduction)

This article will help us to understand SLC & how its conducted in the class room.

What is SLC - 

Student-Led Conference (SLC), is an innovative and unique platform that encourages students to showcase their learning in front of an audience hence prepares the student for life & not only for Academics. 

E.g - Students have written letter to the BMC commissioner to get the garbage bin cleaned / Project in school to save electricity etc 


👉🏻 It is a one-of-a-kind initiative to stimulate students’ creative thinking as they come up with interesting ways to explain a topic.

👉🏻 It gives a wonderful opportunity to students to work on one of the most important parts of language learning: Confident Public Speaking.

👉🏻 In this event students become teachers and present their learning to everyone, simultaneously mastering the concept by explaining concepts to others.

No Subject Constraints: Students are free to explain any concept/ skill of their choice. It can be about any learning moment.

Students can present in any of the following formats :
✅Project work

✅Poster presentation
✅Written work
✅Act like a teacher & teach a concept
✅Perform an activity to explain any concept
✅Other creative ideas are also welcome!

FAQ- 

If the school call's to plan for SLC & organize one for their students - The school has to get in touch with their AEM who will help them.

If the parent wants to know more about it - Explain to the parent what SLC is &  then educate the  parent that the school has to plan the execution so he has to get in touch with the School
