Touchscreen not working of the Tab /Automatic working issue - Lenovo Android Tablet

In the unlikely event that the screen becomes frozen/unresponsive or Automatic working, the below steps outlines basic guides on how to fix the situation.  Applicable Brands: Lenovo Tablet Operating System: Android

Step 1- Remove any case on the tab (If any) if this resolves the issue then close the ticket. If the issue is still not resolved we move to step 2

Step 2- Turn off and turn on the tab again (We need to press and hold your tablet’s power button for a few seconds until Android prompts you to turn off your tablet)

Step 3- If you are not able to switch off the tablet as the touch is not working, request for a video from the user and attach that to the ticket. 

If the issue is resolved then close the ticket if the issue is not resolved even after turning off the tab once then move to step 3.


***If the issue is not resolved, escalate the ticket with the below information

  1. Serial number/ Model number (Clear Pick of the image will be work)-
  2. Supporting Video(If possible) - Attach the Video, where it shows that the tab is lagging (Use Any desk or use any phone to capture the same)
  3. Photo of the Mfg Date - On the back of the tablet they would have the Mfg Date (In YY-MM-DD)

Escalate the ticket with the above details to the respective zone IT warehouse and tag the IT zone managers.
