Procedure to Check Warranty Status for Repair/Replacement Requests

🔧 How to Check Warranty Status Before Escalating Device Repair/Replacement Requests

Before escalating any case to the IT team for repair or replacement of a Lenovo device (tablet), please ensure that you verify the warranty status of the device. This helps avoid unnecessary escalations and ensures smoother case handling.

✅ Steps to Check Warranty Status

  1. Open the Lenovo Warranty Check Page:
    Use the link below:
    https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/in/en/products/tablets/m-series-tablets/tab-m7/za57/za570178in/ha1caal6/warranty

  2. Enter the Serial Number:

    • Click on the Serial Number field.

    • Type or paste the device’s Serial Number (S/N).

    • Click the arrow icon next to the box to search.

  3. View Warranty Details:

    • On the right side of the page, you will see the Warranty Status.

    • It will show either In Warranty or Out of Warranty, along with the remaining days or expiry date.

📌 Important Guidelines

  • If the device is Out of Warranty, politely inform the school/user/internal employee that the warranty has expired and repairs will not be covered under Lenovo support.

  • Only escalate the case to the IT team if the device is within warranty or if escalation is otherwise necessary as per process.
